Dry Eye Care Routine

After seeing a dry eye specialist and understanding what dry eye even is, I now know that an at-home eye care routine is suuuuper important. I have become obsessed with the following products and they have made the biggest difference for my eye health. These products are great for irritated eyes, dry eyes and for eyes that spend time looking at a screen. I dare you to not fall in love.
What is dry eye? “Dry eye disease is a common condition where your eyes don’t produce enough tears or your tears evaporate too quickly, leading to discomfort, irritation, and potential vision problems.”

WINQ Eyelid Serum
Daily screen use is hard on our eyes and this serum helps energize, hydrate, and even restore our natural blink rate. The metal applicator gives a cooling effect that instantly refreshes and awakens the eyes for up to 2 hours. It also has caffeine and niacinamide to help with dark circles and puffiness around the eye area. Other key ingredients are cooling plant extracts, jojoba oil and hyaluronic acid.
This is such a game changer for eyes that are looking at screens everyday. Which, let’s be honest, is most of us. The digital strain is reaaaaaal.
Eye Relax Steam Mask
This one is pure magic. It’s a self-heating eye mask that is incredible for relaxation and delivers 30 minutes of moist heat to soothe dry eye discomfort. It is infused with mint to encourage tear production and feels cool and calming on the eyes. The selling point for me is that it is meant for on the go without the need of a microwave to heat up. Imagine this eye mask on a long flight, on a break at work, parked in your car waiting to pick up your kids from school or during a massage (my favorite).
I’m absolutely hooked on this and always amazed at how it heats up in literal seconds!
NeutraWipe Eyelid Wipes
Who doesn’t want clean eye lids?! This product is a cleansing wipe for the eyelid and eye lashes that helps reduce bacteria and demobex mites, blepharitis (inflammation around the eyelids), can be used as an eye makeup remover and great for cleansing false lashes. It’s made of 3 ingredients; manuka honey, purified water and soy protein. Manuka honey has amazing antibacterial properties and works wonders at reducing eye irritation.
Aside from incorporating them into my night time routine, I also like to use these after a workout, after a massage or going swimming. For best results, use twice daily!
